Kyle Kuzma Reacts To Russell Westbrook’s Wife’s Viral Post

Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma took a moment this week to respond to Russell Westbrook’s wife, Nina, on social media.

It all started when NBA insider Dave McMenamin appeared on ESPN Thursday and revealed what a Los Angeles Lakers source told him about the organization’s decision to trade Russell Westbrook.

“As one source told me, ‘you remove a vampire from the locker room,’” McMenamin said.

McMenamin is pretty much known for his honest reporting on all things Lakers and his famous girlfriend, so there was no reason to doubt the veracity of the report. That said, a lot of people didn’t like it.

Chief among them, Nina.

“This is just sick ESPN,” she wrote on social media.

“Russell is no vampire. This is also slander because anyone who knows anything knows that this couldn’t be further from the truth.

“On a personal note, I have school aged children who have to listen to their peers repeat the nasty things that you guys say on television about their father,” she continued.

“I guess I will prepare myself to explain to my 5 year old that his dad is not actually a vampire, and that major news outlets only say things like that to get attention.”

That in turn prompted a response from Kuzma.

As evidenced by her back-and-forth battles with certain sports commentators, Nina has never been afraid to roll her sleeves up and fight to defend her beau.

This was just the latest example of that.

Fortunately, with the Lakers trading Russell, now everyone can move on. The Utah Jazz will buy him out soon, and at that point there are three title contenders legitimately interested in bringing him onboard.

Where will Russell end up once he is bought out?

One way or another the answer to that question is coming over the next week.
