Jared Butler returning to Baylor for his junior season makes the team’s starting 5 obvious heading into 2020-21. The youngster revealed on Monday morning that he was withdrawing his name from NBA Draft contention in favor of attempting to win a National Championship with the Bears.

Butler averaged 16 points, 3.2 boards and 3.1 assists for Baylor. With him being on the roster next season along with Teague’s return, the Bears should be an absolute lock to be the preseason No. 1 team.

Teague averaged nearly 14 points per outing for Baylor.

While it remains to be seen if next season will ultimately be limited or cancelled in some capacity due to Covid, if it is not, the Bears will be a force to be reckoned with.
