Is KMarko Getting Fired By Barstool Sports?
Is Keith Markovich, also known as Kmarko, set to be fired by Barstool Sports?
Things seem to be moving in that direction.
On Tuesday evening, the hashtag #FireKmarko began to trend in the United States.
At the root of the issue appears to be a decision by Markovich to allow a non-Barstool employee to post a political guest column on the website.
The said guest column was perceived by some as a shot at current Barstool Sports radio host, Kirk Minihane.
Minihane, in turn, began calling for Markovich’s termination.
Many Barstool Sports fans had been growing increasingly wary of Markovich and is pompous hipsterism prior to this most recent incident, so this simply added additional fuel to the fire.
As of Tuesday night, it remains unclear as to whether or not Barstool Sports will ultimately fire Markovich.
