#FireKmarko: Barstool’s Dave Portnoy Firing Keith Markovich?
Barstool Sports editor-in-chief Keith Markovich sparked controversy with week after a disagreement with radio host Kirk Minihane. Both men operate under the Barstool Sports umbrella.
The pair’s feud stems from Markovich’s decision to allow a guest column by a non-Barstool employee that veered into being political in nature.
Minihane took issue with this, as there was a feeling among some that the column in question was in response to his criticism one week earlier of some ongoing protesters. More specifically, Minihane took issue with people donating to bail funds.

Minihane discussed Markovich’s decision to allow the guest column on his show, and subsequently called for his termination.
Soon thereafter, #FireKMarko began to trend on Twitter.
It remains to be seen if Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy will end up firing Markovich.
