Is Angel Reese Secretly Dating Her LSU Teammate?

Angel Reese guided LSU to a NCAA National Championship this year.

In the process, Reese became inarguably the most popular college basketball player on the planet. Men’s or women’s.

Along the way, details about her personal life began to emerge. Romantic stories came out, as did various wild photos of her.

This week, a popular celebrity gossip blogger dropped something of a bomb regarding Reese.

According to Sandra Rose, there are rumors floating around that Reese was romantically linked to LSU teammate Flau’jae Johnson.

“According to a source, Angel and Flau’Jae keep their romance under wraps despite the increasing acceptance of homosexuality in the U.S.,” she wrote.

“Angel and Flau’Jae were closerthanthis at the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue release party in New York City on May 18. A spy said they couldn’t keep their hands off each other all night. Friends say the girls keep their relationship a secret because Angel is a role model for young girls and Flau’Jae is an aspiring rapper.”

To be clear, there is zero public confirmation of any sort of relationship here. Neither Reese nor Johnson have outwardly said that there is anything beyond a friendship there. Plus, Reese has been rumored to be dating Florida State star Cam’Ron Fletcher.

Either way, whether the rumor is true or not, it would do nothing at all to hurt Reese’s skyrocketing stock right now. If anything, it would probably help it.

LSU, as an institution, is on a major role right now. Between Hailey Van Lith’s wild photos, Dylan Crews’ girlfriend’s provocative pictures and Olivia Dunne’s memorable encounter with an NFL star – the school has been a mainstay in the news cycle.

This is just the latest example.

Will Reese guide the Tigers to another championship next season and officially cement herself as the greatest LSU college basketball player of all time? An answer one way or the other will come in 2023-24.
