Bronny James is the eldest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
In addition to that, the 17-year-old is also one of the most highly-touted and respected high school basketball prospects in the nation.
Earlier this year Bronny went mega-viral when photos of him and his date, Peyton Gelfuso, set the internet ablaze.
There had been a lot of speculation about the pair leading up to their big reveal, but this confirmed that there was something there.
In recent weeks, however, eagle-eyed fans noticed a distinct lack of mentions by either party when it comes to the other. Bronny has nothing about Gelfuso on Instagram; she has zero acknowledgement of him as well.
Understandably, this has led to rumors of a split.
“Where’s Bronny’s comment at?” asked one user on Gelfuso’s most recent Instagram post.
And they’re not alone.
Gelfuso boasts nearly 44,000 followers on Instagram and routinely goes viral for posts like this:

So if she posted something about Bronny, people would see it immediately. She has not.
And the same is true for Bronny. He has been in the news plenty for analysis about the size difference between him and his younger brother Bryce, the 5 top colleges chasing after him and his fluctuating ranking among prospects. There has been zilch about him and Gelfuso, though.
Young romance is fleeting so it would certainly make sense if all parties involved have since moved on. Bronny has in the past been linked to an Instagram model and at least one other female – so it’s not like anyone was expecting him to get married.

Presumably at some point in the foreseeable future clarity will emerge on where Bronny and Gelfuso stand.
They simply have too much of an online presence for it not to.
