Colts Player Busted Purposely Forcing Teammate To Fumble (Video)

Sunday morning’s NFL showdown between the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans showcased some truly poor football skills.

Because these two teams are at the bottom of the league record-wise and eagerly tanking in hopes of a more favorable draft position, nobody was expecting much.

Somehow, both the Colts and Texans failed to meet the low bar that everyone had set for them.

One perfect example of that was a Colts player seemingly purposely forcing his teammate to fumble the ball:

Yikes.

Understandably, NFL fans had some strong reactions to that particular sequence of events.

Aside from a woman proposing to her boyfriend at a Colts game last year, there hasn’t been much for Indy fans to root for in recent months.

This weekend showed that there is still a lot further for this team to fall before they can recover any semblance of respectability.

Obviously there have been some weird weeks in the NFL over the past couple of months. Charissa Thompson causing a stir with her interview outfit this past week, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers dating someone half his age and Russell Wilson being Russell Wilson are proof enough of that.

But it is much rarer to see the weirdness carry over onto the football field in the way exhibited during today’s Colts game.

Will the NFL opt to address the Colts’ obvious tanking?

Based on how the league has handled similar things in recent years – probably not.
