The winner of Ohio State vs Clemson is obvious, says ESPN.
Coming into conference championship weekend last week there was one major question that needed to be answered.
The question was: who would get the No. 1 seed out of LSU and Ohio State?
That program would have an easier path to the National Championship game because it would play the No. 4 seed, instead of likely No. 3 seed Clemson.
Well, we got our answer relatively quickly after the SEC Championship Game kicked off.
LSU stomped Georgia and knocked the Bulldogs out of the College Football Playoff.
In doing this, the Tigers were able to secure the No. 1 seed and a date with the Oklahoma Sooners.
Unfortunately the Buckeyes, that means they now have to face off against the defending champion Clemson.
According to statistical analysis run by ESPN, Ohio State has a 54 percent chance of winning the game.
Will Clemson be able to justify the worldwide leader’s confidence in it?
Time will tell.
Ohio State and Clemson are due to face off on December 28.
