Is Jamie Newman transferring to Georgia or Miami?
Wake Forest’s loss is about to be another big program’s gain, as Newman prepares to transfer to another school to finish off his collegiate career.
After a very strong tenure with the Demon Deacons, Newman is looking to make a change.
A couple of weeks ago news emerged that he and Oregon had strong interest in each other, but that speculation has cooled since then.
Instead, Newman is now reportedly eyeing a couple of other major programs: Georgia and Miami.
According to Bruce Feldman of Athletic, Georgia would have very serious interest in Newman now that their current starter Jake Fromm entered the NFL Draft.

Fromm’s decision made everything a lot clearer for all involved.
Beyond Georgia, Newman could also be a good fit for Miami. Jarren Williams, N’Kosi Perry and Tate Martell all underwhelmed for the school, so a more permanent solution is needed.
Over the course of 12 outings this year Newman recorded 2,868 yards and 26 touchdowns through the air on 60.9 percent passing. He also ran for 574 yards and six scores.
