ESPN Has Surprising Take On Jim Harbaugh And Michigan
ESPN has a surprising take on Jim Harbaugh and Michigan, particularly since so many at the network have said it’s time for the two parties to part ways.
Following Michigan’s 28-21 loss to Penn State last month, many at the Worldwide Leader suggested that the wheels were about to completely fall off in Ann Arbor.
Part of that was due to the fact that many stopped watching the Wolverines’ outing against Penn State when Harbaugh’s group fell 21-7 early.
What they failed to recognize, though, is that Michigan outscored their opponents in the second half and has been on something of a tear ever since.
Since losing to Penn State the Wolverines have recorded victories over Notre Dame and Maryland.

In the process, Michigan has outscored, outgained and defended the ball better than their opponents over the last 10 quarters by a fairly significant margin.

When Jason Starrett pointed this fact out, Kirk Herbstreit immediately quote tweeted – becoming the first notable ESPN personality in a while to actually say something positive about Harbaugh and Michigan.
Will the Wolverines continue getting love from the Worldwide Leader?
That likely depends on how they do over the next three weeks.
If Michigan can win out against Michigan State, Indiana and Ohio State, they may just go back to being the media darlings they were when they first brought Harbaugh onboard.
