Trevor Lawrence’s Girlfriend Posts Emotional Message After Loss
Trevor Lawrence’s girlfriend posted an emotional message after his loss on Monday night.
Marissa Mowry, Lawrence’s girlfriend, published a reflective social media post in the aftermath of Clemson’s National Championship Game defeat to LSU.
In the post she noted what an amazing experience the title game was and just how far Clemson came in 2019-20.
“Such a special trip with my amazing friends and such a special season with our Tigers,” she said on Instagram.
Mowry also took a moment to specifically address Lawrence and everything he has accomplished over the past two years.
“Trevor Lawrence, you always amaze me,” she wrote.
“Football isn’t who you are but what you get to do and you always do it for Gods glory – win or lose I’m so so proud of you and who you fight to be. Fall 2020, I’m excited.”
Lawrence has been viewed as a quarterback prodigy ever since his freshman campaign. Most teams would have selected him No. 1 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft ahead of Kyler Murray, but he was not eligible.
Along the same lines, while he may not have gone over Joe Burrow this year, Lawrence still likely would have been a top-five selection if her were eligible to come out.
Despite his performance in Monday’s outing, Lawrence is generally regarded as a lock to go at the top of the 2021 NFL Draft.
