Tulane Fan Goes Viral During Ole Miss Loss (Photos)

A Tulane fan went viral during the team’s loss to Ole Miss this week nearly eight months after initially setting the internet ablaze for a similar reason.

Back in January of this year, Tulane defeated USC in the Cotton Bowl 46-45. While that upset was a big deal, it wasn’t the only major storyline to emerge from the outing.

The other thing fans at home couldn’t stop talking about was a fan who was briefly shown reacting to the outing.

It didn’t take long for her to be identified.

This week that fan, Ellie, went viral once more after Tulane lost to Ole Miss 37-20 on Saturday.

It all started with someone on social media asking for a connect to Ellie.

With social media being what it is, and fans online being what they are, it didn’t take long for the responses to pour in.

Some of the reactions to his tweet were truly classic.

Ellie, for what it’s worth, didn’t appear to be at the Tulane game this weekend. Or at the very least, her social media didn’t seem to have any references to the Ole Miss loss.

Nevertheless, she seems to get a ton of engagement on her standard social media posts.

In a weekend where an Alabama cheerleader’s provocative photos went viral, two Notre Dame cheerleaders nearly melted the internet with their racy pictures and a Colorado cheerleader’s wild antics caused a stir, it’s telling that Ellie is still such a big story in college football.

Big picture, she clearly left quite the mark at the Cotton Bowl last season.

Folks are still talking about her to this day.

Will Ellie ultimately make an appearance at any Tulane games this season? Time will tell.
