Ohio State Over LSU Conspiracy Theory Goes Viral
An Ohio State over LSU conspiracy theory has gone viral.
With the College Football Playoff just around the corner, tensions are running high in regards to who will capture the top four seeds.
Last week, Ohio State jumped LSU for the No. 1 spot despite the Tigers not losing to anyone all year long.
According to a new conspiracy theory, there is a nefarious reason for this.
As the theory goes, the committee is ranking Ohio State at No. 1 so that when Alabama is in the top four LSU will not have to play a team it has already beaten.
Fact: Ohio State moves up to No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Conspiracy theory: Ohio State moved up to No. 1 so there won’t be a semifinal rematch with LSU when the CFP committee puts Alabama in the field at No. 4.

If this scenario comes to be, Ohio State would play the Crimson Tide and LSU would play Clemson.
That way, the only path to an LSU-Alabama rematch would be a National Title game showdown.
Is there anything real to this theory? That is for each individual fan to decide for themselves.
