Ohio State Cheerleader’s Wild Video Causes A Stir
An Ohio State cheerleader’s wild video caused something of a stir this week ahead of the looming 2023-24 college football season.
With kickoff just one week away, all eyes are on Ryan Day’s program.
Last year featured its fair share of highs and lows, but the Buckeyes still somehow found themselves within reach of the National Championship Game.
Understandably, there is a lot of hype and attention on all things related to the program right now – including the dance squad.
This week one particular Ohio State cheerleader, Avery, caused something of a stir with her wild video.

Fans loved it.
“Queen,” one replied.
“Awesome job,” another chimed in.
“Are you kidding me?” a third wrote.
Avery isn’t the only college dancer to make headlines in recent weeks. An Arizona State cheerleader’s provocative video also set the internet ablaze a few days ago.
Cheerleading aside, though – this promises to be a huge year for Ohio State. Obviously last season was highlighted by a deep postseason run and that one super-attractive fan who went viral, but it had its fair share of low points, too.
Namely: losing to Michigan.
This season all eyes will be on that annual match-up to see if Day can humble Jim Harbaugh even a little bit. Much will depend on the quarterback situation. Currently, Kyle McCord and Devin Brown are battling it out to replace C.J. Stroud.
Stroud, for his part, seems to have faith in both youngsters.
“Kyle is very accurate, smart, mobile in the pocket can definitely make every throw. Devin, I think he was groomed to be a great QB not only in college but in the NFL as well”

McCord, obviously, is the more experienced option.
“Kyle is someone who has waited his turn and was a great help to me,” Stroud said.
“I think I helped him a lot as well, just with his confidence and staying ready. Always preparing like a starter, so now if he has the opportunity to be the starter, I think he’s definitely going to be ready. He’s very accurate, very smart, mobile in the pocket, can make every throw on the field.
“And definitely something I always challenged him on was being a vocal leader. I think that’s something that, talking to the boys now, it’s something he’s stepped up and he’s done since I stepped out of there. I’m super, super happy for him, and I know, if he gets his opportunity, he’s going to take full advantage.”
That said, Brown has a really high ceiling. His athleticism is off the charts – as his roommate from last year, Stroud, attested to.
“[Brown is] very athletic, can make every throw on the field as well,” the Houston Texans’ new starting quarterback confirmed.
“And I definitely think that the more experience he gets, the better off he will be, so just practice is going to be really big for him. Just stepping up to the plate, man, not worrying about making mistakes, accepting those…
“I know coach Day is coaching Devin hard. There’s something in that coaching, man. I got that too. Doing what is asked of you, and when it’s time to go make a play, make a play.”

Either way, regardless of who ends up playing quarterback for the Buckeyes this year, having Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka to throw to will make the transition a lot easier.
Losing Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the NFL will undoubtedly hurt the offense a little, but Harrison Jr. and Egbuka are virtual locks for big campaigns.
This is going to be a huge year for the Buckeyes. Ohio State’s cheerleaders will have a lot to be excited about when the new season hits. Is a National Championship in their future? Time will tell.
