Notre Dame Cheerleaders’ Wild Photos Go Viral Before Ohio State Game

A pair of Notre Dame cheerleaders saw their wild photos go viral on Saturday morning prior to their school’s big game against Ohio State.

Heading into this college football weekend, the unquestionable biggest and most important outing around was the No. 6 ranked Buckeyes facing off against the No. 9 ranked Fighting Irish.

Between the high level at which Marcus Freeman has had his guys playing over the first month of the season, and all the questions surrounding Ohio State this year, their match-up had all the makings of a fun one.

Before the game could commence, though – a pair of Notre Dame cheerleaders saw their wild photos go viral on social media.

In a week where an Oregon cheerleader’s racy photos leaked out ahead of the Ducks’ game against Colorado, it is telling that two Notre Dame cheerleaders could steal the headlines in this sort of fashion. But that is precisely what ended up happening.

Big picture, it is easy to see why folks are so psyched for this Ohio State-Notre Dame game.

For the first time in a long time, the Fighting Irish are coming into the proceedings with one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. Sam Hartman is that guy. Throughout the first month of the season he has thrown 13 touchdowns, zero picks and completed more than 70 percent of his passes.

But it isn’t just Hartman. Four different Notre Dame players have rushing scores, and nine different players have receiving scores. There is a lot of depth there, and not just on offense. Defensively, the Fighting Irish have proven quite adept at pressuring opposing quarterbacks.

What will that mean for Kyle McCord? That is the big question. He is coming off inarguably his best ever showing as a starter: three touchdowns and 318 yards on 19-of-23 passing. And his receiving weapons are much better than what Notre Dame has to offer on that side of things, just on the strength of Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka alone.

Defensively the Buckeyes have looked great – keeping opponents to under seven points per game on average over the first month of the season. Of course, those opponents were Indiana, Youngstown State and WKU.

This will be a really interesting game.

Will the Freeman and the Fighting Irish’s players give Notre Dame cheerleaders something to get really excited about against Ohio State on Saturday? An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
