Duke Cheerleaders' Wild Photos Go Viral Before Notre Dame Game

A group of Duke cheerleaders saw their wild photos go viral before the Blue Devils’ big game against Notre Dame this week.
With the Fighting Irish fresh off a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Ohio State, and given Duke’s massive win over Clemson to start the year, this outing is ripe for an upset.
Whether Mike Elko and Co. actually get it done will end up being entirely up to them, though.
Before Saturday’s big game could commence, a group of Duke cheerleaders found themselves going viral Thursday over their wild photos.

In a week that saw an Ohio State cheerleader’s private photos leak out following their game against Notre Dame, this most recent development isn’t too shocking.
That said, cheerleading stuff notwithstanding, Saturday’s showdown has all the makings of a really fun game.
As things presently stand Duke is 4-0 and sitting atop the ACC alongside Florida State, Louisville and North Carolina. The Blue Devils, in particular, have been dominating their competition this season. One month into the year, they have outscored the opposition 149-35.
That is no fluke.
Elko has employed a very balanced attack offensively that utilizes the team’s personnel both in terms of the pass and rush.
Over the first three outings of the season Duke recorded somewhere between 6 and 7 yards per carry. In the team’s most recent effort against UConn the Blue Devils only mustered up 2.7 yards per carry, but that feels more like an exception than rule.
All that being said, Notre Dame’s defense did keep Ohio State in check for most of their showdown last week. Yes, they kind of botched things at the end – but playing with one fewer defender on the field will do that to you.
Sure, the Buckeyes offense this year doesn’t quite have any C.J. Stroud razzle-dazzle, but it still probably better than Duke’s if everyone is being honest.

And it goes without saying that, from a defensive perspective, Elko’s unit has never been tested by an offense like the one Notre Dame brings to the table.
The Blue Devils could easily upset the Fighting Irish (who had their own little cheerleader brouhaha this past week) this weekend. It wouldn’t be all that shocking at all. But Notre Dame is favored in this one for a reason.
Will Duke cheerleaders at the very least get a competitive outing that leaves them with a ton to get hyped about? One way or another an answer will emerge in about two days’ time.
