Colorado Fan’s Sign About Deion Sanders Causes A Stir (Photos)
Colorado fell to Washington State on Friday night in a 42-point loss.
To say that things haven’t gone Deion Sanders’ way since a hot early start to the 2023 season would be an understatement. The Buffaloes have now lost five straight games and seven total.
For obvious reasons, they are no longer the media darling that they were at the beginning of the year.
Because Colorado didn’t do much of note during the Washington State game, the big viral story coming out of it unsurprisingly had nothing to do with what happened on the field.
Rather, it involved one particular creative fan sign:

College football fans tend to love creativity. As a result, the enterprising Buffaloes supporter who put that one together became something of an online star.
The reactions to his wit flowed in quickly:

Big picture, Sanders has had some highlights in 2023. His handsy encounter with First Take’s Molly Qerim probably tops the list, but his wins over TCU and Nebraska were similarly impressive.

That said, the last month and change have been a struggle for both him and his football program.
With Year 1 almost completely in the books for Sanders at Colorado, both sides will need to do some sort of introspective analysis regarding why this train has gone off the tracks.
Will Sanders and Colorado at least be able to close the season out with a win? Time will tell.
