Clemson Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Go Viral After Duke Loss

A Clemson cheerleader’s wild photos went viral on Monday night following their embarrassing 28-7 loss to Duke.

Coming into this week, nobody thought of the Tigers as a legitimate National Championship contender. Even the College Football Playoff was likely out of reach.

That said, Dabo Swinney’s squad was still expected to maintain some semblance of respectability. With their loss to the unranked Blue Devils in the opening week of the season, they officially did not do that.

It’s not all bad news for the Tigers, though. While the team played terribly on Monday night, one of Clemson’s cheerleader’s wild photos went viral nevertheless.

This obviously isn’t an isolated incident.

Between the Florida State cheerleader whose private photos set the internet ablaze this weekend and the Texas cheerleader whose personal pictures blew up online, this has become something of a trend for college football dancers.

That aside, though – it will be interesting to see how Swinney and Co. bounce back from this.

Clearly Cade Klubnik isn’t ready for prime time. Recording 209 yards, one touchdown and one pick on 27-of-43 passing is no bueno. He wasn’t alone to blame for Clemson’s inability to actually put the ball in the end zone, but he is somewhat to blame.

Swinney is similarly culpable. He either didn’t get his guys ready to play a visibly overmatched squad from a talent perspective or he didn’t recruit the right players necessary to enact his gameplan. Either way – that’s on him.

The Tigers have had some good years atop the college football mountain, but those days appear to be long gone now.

Will Clemson’s cheerleaders actually have anything to root for this season? Time will tell.
