Clemson Is An Awful Team, According To Paul Finebaum
Clemson is an awful football team, according to Paul Finebaum.
Despite the fact that the defending National Champions came into this season as the top ranked team in the nation, Finebaum thinks the Tigers are currently a pretty subpar squad.
Appearing on ESPN this week, Finebaum suggested that Clemson’s drop from being ranked first in both polls to now being ranked second was not big enough.
He apparently believes they should have dropped even further.

“They’re not one of the four best teams in college football,” Finebaum said.
“For the polls to put them in there is ludicrous.
“This is not a lifetime achievement award, this is supposed to be based on what you’re doing right now.”
According to Finebaum, even if Clemson goes undefeated, he sees a very likely situation where the Tigers should not be in the College Football Playoff.
Finebaum essentially outlined a scenario where Oklahoma and Ohio State both finish with no losses, as does Alabama.
