If you come at the king you best not miss, and Charles Barkley is unquestionably basketball royalty.
A fan learned the hard way this week not to get on the wrong side of Barkley.
On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks faced off in the opening game of their Western Conference Finals showdown.
The NBA on TNT crew was on hand for the festivities, filming live in front of an audacious Bay Area crowd. Barkley started things off with a bang, declaring he didn’t like the city of San Francisco. Understandably, the fans on hand felt some type of way about that.
At one point, a troll Warriors fan got under Barkley’s skin enough to prompt this response:
Charles Barkley (“Chuck”): “If you don’t leave me alone, I’m going to come to your house and f—k your mama.” #DubNation #Chuck pic.twitter.com/RHNb6eRHKU

Ouch.
To be clear, Barkley definitely loved engaging in a back-and-forth with the Warriors’ fans. This video in particular largely speaks for itself:

Barkley is always one to keep it real. Whether he is trying to kill Skip Bayless or explaining why he is no longer friends with Michael Jordan, he generally maintains that honesty is the best policy.

This exchange with Warriors fans was just par for the course.
If recent history is any indication, this probably won’t be the last time over the next few weeks that Barkley gets into it with Warriors fans.
