Bruce Smith appeared on a celebrity edition of Family Feud on Sunday night.
The Hall of Famer was presented by host Steve Harvey with what seemed to be a fairly standard question.
“If Captain Hook was moonlighting as a handyman, he might replace his hook with what tool?” Harvey asked.
Smith started with what was deemed a normal answer.
“Hammer,” he said.
The problem was – “hammer” had already been offered as an answer.
That is when things went off the rails.
“Penis,” Smith followed up.
Smith’s second answer to a moment to register, but once it did, Harvey absolutely lost it.
“What the f–k did he say?” Harvey said.
Needless to say, the moment immediately went viral.
Family Feud produces moments like this all year long, but Smith likely didn’t imagine that he would be at the center of the most recent one when he agreed to come on the show.
