Patrick Mahomes’ partner Brittany Matthews has been in the news a lot in recent years. Between her racial tweets controversy and fending off accusations about her changing body, she is no stranger to fighting back against online critique.
It was more of the same this week.
On Friday, Sept. 3, a troll took to Instagram to say this:

“She most definitely twenty years from now is gonna be on some real house wifes of athletes type of show because for real what does she actually do besides just being the wife and mother of Pat Macs child.. like really why is she relevant,” the comment read.
Matthews responded immediately.
“And you follow me why?” she replied.
The criticism that Matthews does nothing is particularly crazy when you think about what she has been in the news for recently. There was her infamous twerking video, of course, plus the time she and Mahomes got really frisky on a boat. Does that sound like the track record of a woman that does nothing?

Hopefully at some point in the foreseeable future Matthews starts getting the credit she deserves for what an asset she is to society at large.
