Brittany Mahomes’ husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is currently in the midst of another playoff run.
As usual, the 27-year-old wife and entrepreneur is supporting him every step of the way.
That said, Brittany doesn’t see either of those two aforementioned roles as her primary job.
This past week she shared an Instagram Story of herself in a shirt that spelled out quite clearly what she sees as her most important gig:
“Mama,” the shirt reads.
Brittany is the mom to two beautiful children, Sterling Skye Mahomes and Patrick Lavon Mahomes III. While she makes a lot of headlines for everything from wild Halloween costume pictures to her provocative workout photos with Kayla Nicole to her choice of Christmas party wardrobe, she never seems to let any of that bring her down.
If anything, she always seems singularly focused on being a rock for her family. You can only be that devoted when you understand what’s truly important in life, which she clearly does.
A lot of people have historically tried to make the case that Brittany has an adverse effect on Patrick’s mental health. One particular video is always cited as evidence for this. But based on everything the general public has seen from the couple in recent years, it feels like the opposite is true.
Patrick quite clearly genuinely very much loves his wife. And she is a stabilizing force for him while he does what he does.
The Chiefs are set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this week for the chance to advance to the AFC Championship Game. Obviously anything can happen in the NFL, but it is hard to see Trevor Lawrence and Co. pulling off the upset against Kansas City.
Objectively, the talent disparity between the two sides is just too vast.
What is interesting about this match-up is that many believe Trevor’s wife, Marissa Mowry, is trying to be another Brittany – albeit in more low-key fashion. Her outfit from this past Saturday night going viral felt eerily similar to the way Brittany’s fashion choices always cause a stir.

Brittany is a polarizing figure in the sports community, but she has slowly been winning a lot of folks over in recent years.
Either way, whether people love her or hate her, she isn’t going anywhere. If Patrick guides the Chiefs to the Super Bowl in 2023, Brittany will be by his side every step of the way.
