Barstool’s Big Cat Takes Shot At Muj Fricke Who Quit Over Racism

Barstool’s popular personality Dan ‘Big Cat’ Katz took a shot at Muj Fricke on Sunday night.

Muj had quit one day prior over what he perceived to be racism at Barstool Sports.

During a livestream on Sunday night on Twitch, Big Cat referenced someone leaving Coach Duggs’ coaching stuff. The obvious implication there was that it was Muj.

“Someone on the coaching staff has left,” he said.

“Good riddance. Good bye. Whatever the reason? I didn’t appreciate it [the way it went down]. Someone I mentored. You’re either part of the Duggs team or your not.”

Muj was one of the better known e-sports personalities at Barstool Sports, and was seen as something of a legitimizing factor for the brand among the video game community.

On Saturday, Muj came out and condemned controversial comments made by Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy.

Muj’s exit was divisive. Some argued he was irrelevant to the Barstool brand and was barely known by any of the fanbase. Others made the point that he had done a lot for the company’s e-sports efforts and that his absence would be missed.

Thus far, Muj has yet to respond to Big Cat’s comment.
