Mike Trout’s Wife Jessica Cox: Who Is She?

Mike Trout’s wife Jessica Cox found herself in the news recently after the Los Angeles Angels star expressed doubt about returning to play in major league baseball’s shortened season.

Major league baseball and its players seemingly agreed to come in and participate in an abbreviated version of a season after COVID-19 forced the regular season to be delayed.

Some players, like Trout, are not sure they want to return.

Trout’s wife is pregnant.

“Obviously sports is really big for the country right now, but we’re risking our families and our lives to go out here and play for everyone,” he said.

“My mindset is to play. I wanna play. It’s just a tough situation. I gotta play it by ear. You never know what can happen tomorrow or the next day, if there’s an outbreak. Just a lot of questions I don’t know the answers to.”

Back in March, Trout and and his wife initially announced they were expecting their first child. Obviously the pregnancy has proceeded as planned since then, throwing Trout’s desire to play in this shortened season into flux.

The pair got engaged in July of 2016 and married in December of 2017. They had known each other since they were teenagers at Millville Senior High School in Milville, New Jersey together.

Trout and Cox have actually known one another since they were teenagers. They grew up in the same town in the Garden State and attended Millville Senior High School together.

Whereas Mike has been a baseball lover all his life, Jessica’s career of choice was being a teacher.

It will be interesting to see if Mike ultimately returns to play, or if he opts to stay home.
