Antonio Brown Mocks Raiders After Being Picked Up By Patriots

Antonio Brown mocks the Raiders after being picked up by the Patriots in a new video that shows his reaction to various events that have transpired over the past two days.

Brown, 31, was signed by New England on Saturday after he was granted an exit from an Oakland team that he never even had the opportunity to play with.

The enigmatic wide receiver asked the Raiders to release him this weekend after the team had fined him upwards of $215,000 for conduct detrimental to the team.

The move voided Brown’s $29 million guaranteed pay from the Raiders and ensured that he would not be eligible for termination pay.

That did not seem to upset Brown all that much.

“Antonio is looking forward to a new beginning,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said.

Surely enough, just hours later, it was announced that the seven time Pro Bowler would be joining New England on a one-year deal worth up to $15 million.

So to recap: Brown still got a massive new contract, with a better quarterback throwing to him, and a ton of guaranteed money.

New England got a low-risk Hall of Fame-level talent for Tom Brady to turn into his new Randy Moss.

And the Raiders will enter their Week 1 game against the Broncos as 2.5 point underdogs.

The winners and losers from the Raiders-Brown drama are pretty clear, and you don’t have to look too hard to see who’s who.
