Alex Rodriguez’s New Girlfriend After Kathryne Padgett (Photos)

Alex Rodriguez’s summertime romance with Kathryne Padgett was one of the hottest stories in all of baseball this year.

The pair took provocative vacation photos together, got frisky at various events and never really stopped with the PDA no matter whether it was appropriate or not.

Everything seemed to be going swimmingly. And then, suddenly, as quickly as the relationship started it ended.

It didn’t take long for the real reason behind the breakup to emerge.

In the months that followed, Rodriguez maintained a relatively low profile. Aside from one awkward encounter with Derek Jeter, he generally stayed out of the limelight.

Until this week.

With the holidays approaching, Rodriguez decided to show off some photos of himself with his new girlfriend: Jaclyn Cordeiro.

He and Cordeiro even decided to make it official on social media:

Cordeiro is a very prominent social media fitness influencer. She has more than 84,000 followers on Instagram alone and routinely blows up online for posts of this nature:

Big picture, it will be interesting to see how long this particular relationship lasts.

Obviously Rodriguez has something of a knack for short-term unions. That’s the core reason for his breakup with Jennifer Lopez, after all.

Rodriguez is one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Steroids or no steroids – that can never be taken away from him.

Between that and the level of fame he has been able to achieve in his post-playing career, it’s safe to assume that this probably isn’t the last time his personal life will serve as front page news.
