WWE Legend Diagnosed With Skin Cancer

A WWE legend was diagnosed with skin cancer recently.

Superstar Bret Hart revealed on Thursday that he had been informed that he has skin cancer.

The popular WWF and WCW champ made the announcement on Instagram.

In a photo, Hart showed that he had “basal cell carcinoma” on the upper area of his left shoulder.

“Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen,” he wrote.

“Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked.”

Basal cell carcinoma is a very common form of skin cancer that can show up in people of all ages.

Although Hart is 62 years old, this form of cancer does not discriminate based on how many years someone has lived.

Hart was recently enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame.

His work in the 1990s as a pro wrestler in the then-WWF and WCW immortalized him and was essential in pro wresting becoming as popular as it is today.

Hart will likely to continue providing fans with updates on his health as he continues his journey to full recovery.
