The winner of Wisconsin vs Oregon is very clear, says ESPN.

Heading into the season Oregon was viewed by many as the consensus best team in the Pac-12.

While the Ducks had a pretty solid year by any objective measure, there is no denying that their inability to make the College Football Playoff was a huge disappointment.

Wisconsin, meanwhile, looked like the second best team in the Big Ten for a good chunk of the year before ultimately falling back down to Earth.

On January 1 these teams will square off in the 2020 Rose Bowl to determine once and for all who will have recorded the better season.

In a recent column for ESPN, college football analyst Adam Rittenberg took a look at this game and decided that the Badgers have a slight edge.

He believes Wisconsin will ultimately win this one 30-27.

“These are similarly constructed teams, bolstered by elite-level offensive lines and well-coached defenses that rarely give up big plays,” he wrote.

“Wisconsin has an edge at running back with Jonathan Taylor, while Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert is a high-level NFL prospect.

“Both teams will be highly motivated, but I like Wisconsin’s running game a little more, as Taylor finishes a historic career on a strong note.”

Will Wisconsin be able to close the year out with one last win? We’ll all find out together come New Year’s Day.
