Winner of Ravens vs Rams Is Obvious, Says ESPN
The winner of Monday’s Ravens vs Rams game is obvious, says ESPN.
Coming into this season, expectations were high for Los Angeles following their trip to the Super Bowl.
While they obviously came up short versus Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, many assumed that was just part of the growing up process for a Rams team that was only starting to put everything together.
Unfortunately, LA has looked far less impressive this season than they did for the first half of last.
Through 10 games they sit at 6-4, and Jared Goff is not looking like anyone even remotely resembling the quarterback Los Angeles was hoping he’d be when they signed him to a massive deal.
On the season, Goff has thrown for 2783 yards, 11 scores and 10 picks.
Baltimore, meanwhile, comes into this outing as arguably the scariest team in the league.
Unlike Goff, Lamar Jackson has shown the exact sort of evolution and progression you would hope to see year over year from a young quarterback.
Thus far he has thrown for 2258 yards, 19 touchdowns and 5 interceptions – solidifying himself as an early season favorite for the MVP award.
Through 10 games, the Ravens sit at 8-2. Included in that wins total is a very impressive showing versus a scrappy New England Patriots team.
Based on how both teams are playing right now, it is tough to see a scenario where the Rams beat the Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Surely enough, according to ESPN’s match-up predictor, there is a 52.5 percent chance that Baltimore emerges from this matchup with a victory.
