The winner of Ohio State vs Wisconsin is obvious, says ESPN.

Coming into this college football season there was a lot of speculation about whether this would be the year that the Buckeyes finally take a step back.

With Urban Meyer gone, a regression of some sort would have made sense. Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State and Nebraska were all mentioned as possible contenders to steal Ohio State’s crown.

Well, that did not end up happening.

Ohio State came into this year as hot as ever, and even without Meyer, they have not missed a beat.

This weekend the Buckeyes will square off against Wisconsin for the Big Ten Championship.

The Badgers have put together a solid year that left many wondering if they would make the College Football Playoff. Unfortunately, a bewildering loss to Illinois completely derailed any hopes of that.

Nevertheless, the Badgers are a tough team, and many think they could give Ohio State one of its toughest tests of the season.

That being said, don’t count ESPN among that group. According to the worldwide leader’s statistical analysis, Ohio State has an 81.6 percent chance of winning Saturday’s game.

Will Wisconsin ultimately be able to shock the world?

We’ll find out soon enough.

Either way, though, even a loss to Wisconsin will not take Ohio State out of the College Football Playoff. So one team clearly has way more to play for come this weekend than the other.
