Heading into this weekend, the biggest game on the college football schedule is Saturday’s battle between Alabama and Auburn.
Alabama desperately needs to win the game in order to remain contenders for the College Football Playoff.
Auburn, meanwhile, is simply trying to confirm itself as a legitimate squad in the SEC – and there is no better way to do it than knocking off the second best team in the conference.
This week, Meyer was asked how he saw Alabama vs Auburn unfolding, and his answer caught some people by surprise.
“Auburn is still one of the most underrated teams in America,” he said.
“I think they are going to play great defense, if they can control Alabama’s receivers — and I think they will to a degree. Auburn wins by four.”
