Why Race Car Driver Renee Gracie Is Now Making Millions (Photos)

Race car driver Renee Gracie was once known as a promising up-and-coming talent signed to the Australian V8 Supercars circuit.

Around this time, she told the New York Post that she made “$80,000 for five years of my life.”

So how did she go from making five figures over the span of many years to making six figures per month? By undergoing something of a career transformation.

These days, Gracie posts provocative content online – and business has been very lucrative as of late.

“I personally don’t consider myself a porn star,” she said. “… It’s blanket statement for someone who doesn’t understand the industry.”

Whatever you want to call what she does – it pays well. She made more than $24,000 in her first 24 hours. From there, the numbers went up exponentially.

“It was $70,000, $80,000 the next month,” she said. “… It was such a whirlwind for me [from] having no money, and being broke to having heaps of money.”

Gracie utilizes her Instagram, which has more than 133,000 followers, to generate interest in her services. The photos she posts on the platform largely speak for itself:

Obviously, as one of the most prominent soccer stars on the planet can tell you, posting provocative photos online comes with its fair share of drawbacks as well. It isn’t all riches and glamour.

That said, clearly Gracie is happy with how things are going.

Will she ultimately return to racing now that she has discovered so much success outside of it? She’s refusing to close the door.

“I grew myself to be someone who has a presence online. It wasn’t just online, but as a businesswoman,” she admitted, before revealing that there are “ideas floating around … ‘Can you come back to racing?’ People were wanting me to come back.”

Will other athletes ultimately follow Gracie’s example in an effort to reach financial success that may have eluded them in their sport of choice?

Time will tell.
