Thursday night’s showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat produced several memorable moments.
The one that stands out in particular occurred with about 5 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
On one sequence, following a switch, Lakers center Andre Drummond ended up guarding Heat swingman Jimmy Butler.
It did not end well for the new Laker.
The video speaks for itself:
Not only did Butler drill a jumper in Drummond’s eye, he also schooled him afterward on how big of a mistake he had made.

Miami ended up beating LA 110-104. The defending champs have now lost six of their last 10.
Fortunately, things appear to be improving.
Once the Lakers get those two back, the entire season will likely turn around for them.
