UFC 246 Payouts: Conor McGregor, Cowboy Cerrone Salaries Revealed

Conor McGregor and Cowboy Cerrone are set to square off at UFC 246 on Saturday night.

The highly anticipated bout pits the sport’s most famous fighter against arguably its most dedicated.

While McGregor is known for his brash persona and insane levels of charisma, Cerrone has endeared himself to fans over the years by being ready to fight whoever, whenever, wherever.

Heading into UFC 246, both men will be aid handsomely for participating.

McGregor said earlier this week that he was expecting an $80 million payday when it was all said and done. While that may be true, most of it will not be coming via disclosed pay.

According to the numbers reported to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, McGregor is owed $3 million for returning to the UFC. That figure is the same as his disclosed payout from the Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz fights.

Cerrone, meanwhile, is set to walk away with a base pay of $200,000. If he emerges from Saturday’s match victorious, that total balloons by another $200,000 for $400,000 total.

This will mark the biggest payday of Cerrone’s career. Prior to this, the most he ever earned was at UFC 214 when he made $155,000 fighting Robbie Lawler.

It goes without saying that these are simply disclosed figures. That means they do not include various items like sponsorships, which make up the bulk of money someone like McGregor would receive from an event like this.
