Tyson Fury’s Wife Paris Fury Makes Surprising Claim
Tyson Fury’s wife Paris made a surprising claim in the immediate aftermath of her husband’s dominant victory over Deontay Wilder.
Speaking to the media, Paris admitted that she was not permitted to stay in the home where Tyson was residing prior to his big match.
“I’ve been barred from the house,” she said.
“I don’t quite understand. The boys are all there and they’ve all said it’s a serious fight.”
While Paris said she understood why tensions were so high leading up to the bout, she believes her husband’s team forgot that she is no rookie to this game. She has been with him for 11 years – through thick and thin.
“But I don’t think they realize that I’ve been here for 11 years and I understand all the rules and regulations of nights before fights, so I’m just going along with it,” she continued.
At the end of the day, she just wanted to respect her husband’s wishes.
“Tyson was happy to go along with it and I’m OK,” she added.

Maybe it was a good strategy, though?
For what it is worth, whatever Fury’s team decided to do in the lead-up to the Wilder bout seemed to have worked. Not only did the 31-year-old Fury defeat his opponent – he absolutely dominated him from start to finish.
Fury ended up walking away with Wilder’s WBC heavyweight crown and the vacant The Ring and lineal championships.
There was a lot of hype and anticipating heading into Saturday night’s match due to their draw back in 2018. This time around, Fury wanted to ensure that the judges would not be able to mess up the final result.
While Paris was confident in her husband’s odds going into the fight, she still admitted to experiencing “terrible” anxiety and not feeling “well for a week” after the original match back in 2018.
With his most recent win, Fury’s record is now 30-0-1.
The big question now is what happens next.
In theory, Fury has two great options in front of him. He could either do a rematch with Wilder and complete the trilogy, or he could square off against WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight Anthony Joshua in an attempt to unify the titles.
A final decision on where Fury will go from here should be made at some point in the next few months.
