Henry Cejudo career earnings in the UFC total up to more than $1.58 million.
Cejudo, 32, has quickly established himself as one of the most dominant mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters in combat history.
Prior to becoming a UFC fighter, Cejudo won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

When he accomplished that feat, he was the youngest Mexican-American to ever become an Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling.
In January 2013, Cejudo announced that he planned to begin MMA.
Cejudo’s first UFC bout came in December 2014 when he took on Dustin Kimura at UFC on Fox: Dos Santos vs. Miocic.

He would win the fight by unanimous decision.
Over the course of his next three matches, Cejudo would go on to defeat the likes of Chris Cariaso, Chico Camus and Jussier Formiga – all by way of decision.

In April 2016 Cejudo hit a bit of a career rough patch that could have permanently derailed a lesser fighter.
First, he tasted defeat at the hands of Demetrious Johnson in a championship showdown for the UFC Flyweight belt.
Johnson beat him in the first round by TKO.

In December 2016, Cejudo was beaten in a controversial split decision by Joseph Benavidez.
Many thought Cejudo had done enough to win the bout – but obviously the judges did not agree.
That would prove to be the last loss Cejudo would get for the next three years.

In 2017 Cejudo defeated the likes of Wilson Reis and Sergio Pettis to earn another shot at Johnson.
In 2018, Cejudo beat Johnson in the pair’s rematch – claiming the UFC Flyweight Championship of the world for himself.
Four months later, at UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Dillashaw, Cejudo defeated the then-UFC Bantemweight champion of the world TJ Dillashaw to earn a shot at the 135 pound belt.

In June of 2019, after Dillashaw tested positive for banned substances, Cejudo fought for the vacant UFC Bantemweight championship of the world.
Cejudo would ultimately go on to defeat Marlon Moraes to become the champion of both the 125-pound and 135-pound men’s divisions.
