Daniel Cormier career earnings in the UFC total up to more than $6 million.
Cormier, 40, is one of the greatest fighters to ever step into the octagon.
After an extremely successful wrestling career that saw him take 4th in the 2004 Olympics and be named captain of the United States team in 2008, he switched to mixed martial arts (MMA).
Cormier’s first legit fight came in 2009 at a Strikeforce event against Gary Harris, who he defeated in the second round via punches. He was 31 years old at the time.

The run of dominance would continue for Cormier, as he emerged victorious in his next 14 bouts before finally losing at UFC 182 to Jon Jones.
Cormier would go on to fight Jones once more in a bout that was later ruled a No Contest due to Jones testing positive for banned substances.

In July 2018 Cormier became only the second fighter to simultaneously hold two UFC belts when he defeated Stipe Miocic to win the heavyweight championship of the world – a belt he paired with the light heavyweight championship of the world.

At UFC 241, in August 2019, he lost the heavyweight belt to Miocic.
Regardless of whether he chooses to continue fighting or call it quits after that defeat, Cormier will go down as one of the greatest fighters in the sport’s long, illustrious history.
