Conor McGregor broke his tibia during his July 2021 match against Dustin Poirier.

The lack of mobility resulted in McGregor deeply altering his workout regiment to minimize the adverse reactions from being unable to use his leg properly.

Although the injury deeply hindered his ability to work out the way he once did in certain regards, it did also free him up in other ways.

Namely – giving him the opportunity add a lot of strength and muscle.

This week, McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh revealed that McGregor’s has gotten incredibly ‘jacked’ over the past few months.

“He’s going to be back in the gym, he’s going to be back on the mats now in the next couple of weeks with me,” he said, per Alex Pattle of the Independent. “He’s doing a lot of strength training at the moment. The guy is jacked. I think he’s coming back to the UFC as a middleweight! But he’ll be back on the mats with me now shortly and we’ll start off with combat sports training again.”

McGregor’s recently posted photos seem to back this up:

Impressive stuff.

Between saving people’s businesses and buying sexy little toys for himself, McGregor has had a busy year. And that’s to say nothing of the fights he has had inside and outside the octagon.

Despite it all, McGregor has definitely prioritized getting his body into tiptop shape. And the results are very clearly bearing fruit.
