Blazers Star Damian Lillard Enamored With Ebanie Bridges (Video)
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has made it no secret that he is a combat sports fan. Whether it is boxing or mixed martial arts (MMA), he often offers his hot takes on big events.
This weekend was no exception.
On Saturday night, an IBF bantamweight champioship match between Ebanie Bridges and Shannon O’Connell took place on the Warrington-Lopez undercard.
The match marked Bridges’ first championship defense, and she garnered a lot of attention for the bout when she opted to wear this to the weigh-ins:

After a display like that, expectations were high for how Bridges would look in the fight itself. And she didn’t disappoint. The end of the fight largely speaks for itself:

Lillard absolutely loved it. Shortly after the match, he sent out this tweet about the victor:

Lillard is one of the best basketball players in the NBA right now, but he often finds himself trending for non-hoops matters. Earlier this year he went viral when fans caught a peak of the home screen on his phone. That earned him a bit of ridicule.
It will be interesting to see if a collaboration of some sort between Lillard and Bridges can be worked out. Although she is a champ, her level of fame obviously pales in comparison to his.

And clearly Bridges is trying to get her name out there, as evidenced by her weigh-in outfit.
Could a partnership of some sort occur between Lillard and Bridges at some point in the foreseeable future?
