Tua Tagovailoa Offers Huge Injury Update Before Draft

Tua Tagovailoa offered a huge injury update before the draft.

On Tuesday, the former Alabama star’s agent Leigh Steinberg revealed that his client is making significant improvements health wise.

Tagovailoa was widely regarded as the best quarterback in college football before a hip injury against Mississippi State ended his season.

While he has been recovering well from the injury, concerns still linger about whether he will be able to make a full recovery.

In an effort to quiet those concerns, Steinberg said this week that Tagovailoa will participate in a 40-minute throwing session for NFL teams in the lead-up to the draft.

This session will reportedly occur during Alabama’s Pro Day.

If for any reason that does not work out, then Tagovailoa will host the session in April just before the draft.

Tagovailoa will also travel to the Super Bowl next month to speak to teams and answer any questions they may have regarding his health.

Despite the severity of his injury, Tagovailoa is still widely regarded as a top-five pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers are both considered serious contenders for Tagovailoa’s services.

If Tagovailoa’s health ultimately checks out before the draft, it also would not be particularly surprising to see someone trade up to get him.
