Tom Brady Reveals Surprising 2020 Plans

Tom Brady revealed his surprising 2020 plans this week.

Heading into this NFL season, many wondered if it would be Brady’s swan song.

At 43 years old he was finally beginning to show signs of slowing down, and with so little left to prove, moving on to the next chapter would seemingly make a lot of sense for Brady.

Well, it appears Brady isn’t ready to move to the next chapter yet.

During a recent interview with Jim Gray on Westwood One, the New England Patriots star made it clear that he planned on playing in the NFL in 2020-21.

“I think I’ve said for a long time, my tune hasn’t changed, so, I hope to continue playing,” he said.

“I’ve had long-term goals, I’ve had short-term goals, and again, football is a contact sport, so, you never know when your last game is going to be and you count your blessings every time you walk off the field healthy.”

Brady shutting the door so strongly on retirement leads to the natural follow-up question: will he return to New England?

Rumors have been running rampant all year long that he may sign with the Los Angeles Chargers or Denver Broncos next year, but it is hard to imagine Brady in a new uniform.

Either way, though, regardless of where he ends up playing, clearly Brady is planning on playing somewhere come 2020.
