Titans Players Mock Ravens, Lamar Jackson After Win

Titans players mocked the Ravens and Lamar Jackson after their win on Saturday night.

Heading into this particular playoff showdown, nobody was giving Tennessee much of a shot.

The Ravens boasted a historically great offense that seemed unstoppable for much of the year, and the Titans had barely snuck into the postseason.

When the game kicked off, though – everything changed.

Tennessee looked like a far superior team from start to finish and ended up winning the outing 28-12.

A lot of the victory could be attributed to the early-game play of Kevin Byard.

On Baltimore’s very first drive, he intercepted a throw Jackson made to Mark Andrews and it completely swung the momentum in the other direction.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill would ultimately deliver a clean pass to tight end Jonnu Smith to put the Titans up 7-0, and they never really looked back from there.

All in all, the Ravens turned the ball over three times.

Following the game, Byard could be heard running around and yelling “Bruss Truss” all over the stadium. A lot of other Tennessee players followed suit.

“Big truss” was essentially Baltimore’s mantra this past season. It was a slang term that Jackson and Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown introduced to the team from South Florida used to describe trust.

Late Saturday, it became something of a rallying cry for the Titans instead.

Next up for Tennessee will be the winner of Sunday’s showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.
