Joe Burrow mocked Trevor Lawrence before the LSU vs Clemson game.

With a day to go before the college football National Championship game, both programs are being hounded by the media.

Since every legitimate question has been asked and answered by this point, reporters are now reduced to pretty much just saying whatever pops into their heads.

This weekend, Burrow was tasked with dealing with that dynamic.

While speaking to the media, one particular reported asked him what it was about Clemson’s quarterback that he was jealous of.

Burrow took the opportunity to poke a little fun at the man who would be leading the opposing side on Monday night.

“I wish I was three inches taller and 20 pounds heavier,” he said jokingly.

“I mean, the best thing he does is just win, 25-0, something like that, as a starter.

“That’s just something that not a lot of people can do, no matter what conference you play in, who you’re playing. He hasn’t lost yet. That’s the number one thing.”

Fortunately, we are just a little more than 24 hours away from the game kicking off. The time for talk is finally over and we will get an answer once and for all as to who the best team in the nation truly is.
