Tiger Woods Embarrasses Himself At Genesis Open

Tiger Woods embarrassed himself at the Genesis Open this past week.

After a strong start to the tournament, Woods faded badly as the days progressed.

Initially, the 15-time major champ began the event with an eagle on his opening front nine. That landed him near the top of the leaderboard.

Unfortunately, things quickly fell apart after that.

The 44-year-old ultimately ended his final round at 11 over par. That placed him dead last in the proceedings.

“Tiger Woods finishes his own Genesis Invitational 11 over for the week after a final-round 77,” Tiger tracker tweeted out.

“He is, as of this tweet, in solo last.”

On Saturday, Woods acknowledged not feeling 100 percent at this point in time.

“That’s the fun part of trying to figure this whole comeback,” Woods said.

“How much do I play, when do I play, do I listen to the body or do I fight through it? There are some things I can push and some things I can’t.”

At this stage, neither Woods nor anyone from his team have made an announcement about his status for the Honda Classic or Arnold Palmer Invitational. Some word on that should come in the next few weeks.
