Texas Star Sam Ehlinger Makes Surprising NFL Choice
Texas star Sam Ehlinger made a surprising NFL choice on Monday.
Earlier in the day Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa held a press conference to announce that he was not returning to school.
Ehlinger did the exact opposite.
Not only did he reveal that he is returning to Texas, he also did it on his social media account.
“Dear Longhorn Nation… It’s been an amazing journey. One more year. Chapter 4,” he wrote on Twitter.

Heading into the season Ehlinger was widely considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football. His star lost a bit of shine as the year progressed, though.
The Longhorns underwhelmed in the regular season, ultimately posting a 7-5 regular season record – including going 5-4 in conference.
That said, the program did finish the year on a high note, beating the almost-Pac 12 champions Utah in an absolute blowout.
With another year of experience under his belt Ehlinger should be one of the more sought after quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
