Texans, Cardinals DeAndre Hopkins Trade To Be Cancelled?

Will the trade between the Houston Texans Arizona Cardinals for DeAndre Hopkins be cancelled? That is the question some people are asking this weekend.

Last month, Houston sent Hopkins to Arizona in return for David Johnson and a select group of draft picks. Or so we thought.

On Sunday, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggested that the deal was not finalized yet. According to him, neither marquee player at the center of the trade has passed their physical yet.

“Put simply, if Johnson or Hopkins fail their physicals, the trade will be off,” said Florio.

“As a practical matter, that gives both the Texans and the Cardinals an out, if they want to avoid the deal — and if they can persuade their doctors to give either guy an “F” on his physical.”

Will this trade ultimately go down as planned? Time will tell.
