Shaq Reveals His Worst NBA Teammate Of All Time

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest NBA players of all time. In most people’s books, he is at least top 10 all-time.

With a career that spanned two decades and six teams, he has racked up every accolade there is to earn in the league and experienced just about anything there is to experience.

That makes him a wealth of knowledge and information.

During a recent appearance on his podcast, O’Neal revealed who his worst teammate of all time was.

“Worst teammate? Dennis Rodman,” he said without pausing. “He was a great player, but he made it hard. Like when you try to corral the guys together and the people above you letting this one guy do whatever he wants.”

O’Neal then elaborated on why.

“So we had to be there an hour before the game. He come in 15 minutes before the game eating chicken and rice. While the coaches are talking, he would jump in the shower. Cold shower. Come and give you 15-20 rebounds. After the game, he don’t take a shower and be in a club with girls that look like you.”

O’Neal has always been one to keep it real.

Whether he is naming the best player in the league right now, talking about his life-threatening condition, identifying the one big problem facing Russell Westbrook and the Lakers, or calling it how he sees it with the Brooklyn Nets – he never really bites his tongue.

In that respect, O’Neal’s openness about what an awful teammate Rodman was is relatively unsurprising. The only question now is what he’ll reveal next.

What fun tidbits will he ultimately drop in his future podcast appearances?

Time will tell.
