Seahawks Star Gets Brutally Honest About 49ers vs Packers

A Seahawks star got brutally honest about the 49ers vs Packers game due to take place Sunday afternoon.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson did everything in his power to get his squad to the NFC Championship Game.

Unfortunately, the Seahawks came up just short last week – ultimately losing to Green Bay 28-23 at Lambeau Field.

On Saturday night, Wilson took to social media to express his disappointment at not being able to participate in this weekend’s big game.

“Not playing tomorrow makes me sick… wish I was playing tomorrow fighting for the Championship,” he wrote.

While Wilson obviously will not be partaking in the NFC title game, he still has a lot to be proud of.

His Seahawks were absolutely ravaged by injuries all year long. It got so bad that they had to beg running back Marshawn Lynch to come out of semi-retirement and play for them.

Despite that, Seattle still finished the year with an 11-5 mark and won an NFC Wild Card showdown against a gritty Philadelphia Eagles group.

With a healthy roster and behind the efforts of the always-reliable Wilson at quarterback, there is no reason not to consider this team one of the favorites to play in the NFC Championship Game in 2021.
