Saquon Barkley’s Girlfriend Anna Congdon Goes Viral At Giants Game

Saquon Barkley’s Girlfriend Anna Congdon Goes Viral At Giants Game

Saquon Barkley is in the midst of a career resurgence in 2022, and his impressive run continued Sunday night against the Washington Commanders.

Although there is a case to be made that some iffy officiating influenced the outcome of this week’s New York Giants game, what isn’t debatable is Barkley’s contributions.

Barkley finished the outing with 87 yards on 18 carries, good for a 4.8 yard per carry average. In addition to all that, he also chipped in one extremely meaningful touchdown that proved to be the difference in the final result.

Barkley’s longtime girlfriend, Anna Congdon, was on hand to witness him triumph. After his big score, she posted this to her Instagram Stories:

This is notable because Congdon is one of the more private girlfriends in all of the NFL. Aside from stealing the show at the Chicago Bears game and her wild photos from the Tennessee Titans outing – she has maintained a fairly low profile.

Congdon has a pretty sizable social media following: nearly 90,000 fans. But she doesn’t really utilize it the way many other NFL partners do. Her posts tend to be more of this nature:

With Sunday’s big win, the Giants are now 8-5-1 on the year. If the NFC East wasn’t so insanely stacked this season, they’d like be at the top of the division right now.

As things presently stand, despite sitting behind both the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the standings, New York is still very much in the playoffs picture.

Over the next three weeks the Giants will face off against a Minnesota Vikings group that doesn’t have much to play for anymore, the hapless Indianapolis Colts and the admittedly solid Philadelphia Eagles who may or may not be resting players at that juncture.

If New York can win all those outings – they’re in the playoffs.

And once they are in the playoffs, it will be fun to see how Barkley and Congdon ultimately handle a spotlight that they likely aren’t used to after the past couple of seasons.
